”NYONYA“ FOOD IN MALACCA - Peranakan or Nyonya cuisine is a interesting amalgamation of Chinese and Malay dishes. It is a unique blending of Chinese ingredients and cooking techniques with spices used by the Malay/Indonesia community. The food is tangy, aromatic, spicy & herbal. Restaurant serving Nyonya food are popular and commonly found in Malacca. Here is a locally well known HAWKER STALL serving authentic style Peranakan dishes, more than 20 types dishes was served every day at fair and reasonable hawker price. (Stall no.1 at WANG's FOOD COURT adjacent to Hotel Grand Continental, Jalan Tun Sri Lanang, Malacca city center).
